Heritage Link’s exciting two year programme to support heritage organisations in reaching out to new audiences was launched on 1st September 2006, with the first of six interactive forum events taking place in Birmingham on 1st December. The programme’s first anniversary is marked with a yearly report by the coordinator Angela Dove.

Regional participants included representatives from civic societies, local history groups, garden heritage, volunteer organisations, independent museums and curators, archaeology groups, faith and community groups, experts on disability and heritage, together with outreach workers from The National Trust and English Heritage.
